Bittner Family Children's Fund

In 2015 this fund began with a gift from Cynthia Bittner Donelson. Each year awards are given to support programs and supply resources to bring more joy to children in the Prairie Central School District who may need additional help due to disability, illness, or abuse.

Boy's and Girl's Club Endowment Fund

Established to help support the club's operational expenses.

Dominy Library Fund

Provides financial assistance with the building's updates and maintenance.

Fairbury Police K-9 Fund

Provides support to the city police's K-9 program.

General Fund

Funds are used at the Boards discretion for general and other expenses or projects.

John and Tula Wade Endowment Fund

John and Tula Wade began this fund to provide a continual support for cultural, recreational and community services for those who live in the Fairbury/Cropsey school district. Their desire was the income earned from this fund would be used to support or create parks, museums, libraries and other similar projects.

Lions Club of Fairbury - Scholarship Fund

The Lions Club of Fairbury created this fund to provide scholarships to Prairie Central graduates.

Lions Club of Fairbury - Boy Scouts of America Troop #1870

The Lions Club of Fairbury established this fund to provide support for equipment and scouting experiences for the Boy Scouts of America Troop #1870.

Marjorie Fulton Girl Scout Fund

Marjorie Fulton began the Girl Scout fund to provide financial assistance to Scouts for trips, projects, or other activities that the Central Area Girls Scouts is not able to support.

Prairie Central Educational Endowment Fund

Established in 1996 by Dr. and Mrs. David Voris, to provide financial assistance and support for educational activities within the Prairie Central School District as well as provide scholarships to Prairie Central graduates for continuing education.

Memorial Scholarship Funds

Jeff Kafer Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Kafer family established this scholarship fund in memory of Jeff Kafer. Each year an award is given to a Prairie Central graduate who is continuing their education in either agriculture or business.

Brian J. Munz Memorial Scholarship Fund

Friends and family established this scholarship fund in memory of Brian Munz. Scholarships are awarded to employees or volunteers, their spouse, or children, of the City of Fairbury Fire Department, City of Fairbury Police Department or SELCAS, who would like to further their education.

Matt Rambo Memorial Scholarship Fund

The family of Matt Rambo established this scholarship fund in his memory. Each year an award is given to a Prairie Central graduate who is continuing their education at a junior or community college with an interest in golf, baseball, or farming.

Todd Stemke Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Stemke family established this scholarship fund in memory of Todd Stemke. The awards given from this fund are awarded to Prairie Central graduates continuing their education in agriculture or other industrial arts.

Ellen Zick Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Zick family established this scholarship fund in memory of their daughter Ellen Zick. The award each year is given to a Prairie Central graduate continuing their education in nursing or a health-related field.
